Description

The Unitree G1-D Standard C U3 is a high-performance dual-arm humanoid robot equipped with Dex3-1 tactile dexterous hands, built on the G1-D platform and configured on a fixed base. It is aimed at research groups whose work is centred on what the robot's hands can do rather than on where the robot can go.

The Dex3-1 hands are the defining component of this configuration. Tactile dexterous hands give the platform rich manipulation capability alongside realistic sensing — contact information the control system can act on, not merely joint positions it can command. That distinction matters for the research workloads the U3 targets: manipulation studies, AI training, and human-robot interaction all depend on knowing how an object is being held, not only that it has been grasped.

The fixed-base configuration is a deliberate trade rather than a limitation. Removing the mobile base removes a variable from every experiment, gives a stable and repeatable reference frame for the arms, and simplifies laboratory safety and workspace planning. For teams running structured manipulation experiments and collecting demonstration data at a dedicated station, that repeatability is worth more than mobility.

Every unit is sourced new through established distribution channels and arrives with the full manufacturer warranty. Robotix Market ships worldwide; after-sales support is coordinated with Unitree's service network, and no on-site installation or commissioning is included.

Features

Dex3-1 Tactile Dexterous Hands Equipped with Unitree's Dex3-1 tactile dexterous hands, delivering rich manipulation capability with realistic contact sensing rather than position feedback alone.
Dual-Arm Configuration Two arms enable bimanual manipulation research — coordinated two-handed tasks that a single-arm platform cannot represent.
Fixed-Base Stability The fixed base removes a variable from every experiment and provides a stable, repeatable reference frame for the arms during structured manipulation work.
Built on the G1-D Platform Based on Unitree's G1-D humanoid platform, sharing its architecture with the other configurations in the family.
Research and AI Training Focus Targeted at research, AI training, and human-robot interaction work rather than at a fixed production or service task.
Realistic Sensing for HRI Tactile feedback supports human-robot interaction studies where the quality of contact, not just its occurrence, is the object of investigation.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Unitree G1-D Standard C U3 used for?

It is a dual-arm humanoid robot used for manipulation research, AI training, and human-robot interaction studies. The Dex3-1 tactile dexterous hands provide rich manipulation capability with realistic contact sensing for contact-rich experimental work.

What are the Dex3-1 hands?

Dex3-1 are Unitree's tactile dexterous hands, fitted as the end effectors on this configuration. They give the platform dexterous manipulation capability together with tactile feedback, so the control system receives contact information rather than joint positions alone.

What does the Unitree G1-D Standard C U3 cost?

The G1-D Standard C U3 is listed at approximately $53,800. Final pricing depends on configuration, destination, and shipping terms — please request a quote through the product page for a confirmed figure.

Why choose the fixed base over a mobile configuration?

A fixed base removes a variable from every experiment, gives the arms a stable and repeatable reference frame, and simplifies laboratory safety and workspace planning. It suits teams running structured manipulation experiments and collecting demonstration data at a dedicated station.

How is the G1-D Standard C U3 supplied and supported?

The robot is sourced new through established distribution channels and arrives with the full manufacturer warranty. Robotix Market ships worldwide; after-sales support is coordinated with Unitree's service network, and on-site installation or commissioning is not included.
