Buy Pdnbotics ADAM - Advanced Robotics Solution | Robotix Market

Description

The PNDbotics Adam-U is an upper-body humanoid platform from the Adam family, comprising a sensor-equipped head, articulated shoulders and arms, and dexterous robotic hands mounted on a fixed pedestal. Its bench-height layout concentrates payload, reach, and dexterity for bimanual manipulation tasks such as sorting, placement, tool holding, and demonstration learning, making it well suited to research labs, startups, and integrators building skill libraries, demos, and pilot services. Where mobility is required, an optional third-party mobile base can be added separately, so the platform is not inherently wheeled.

Adam-U is built around PNDbotics' modular, developer-oriented workflow, with standardised, production-oriented joints and drives and a teleoperation framework that ingests motion from Noitom motion-capture suits (with roadmapped VR-controller support) for real-time mirroring, kinesthetic teaching, and dataset creation. Multi-camera RGB and depth sensing supports perception-guided grasping and scene understanding, and the platform is typically supplied as a configurable kit so buyers can select hand type, arm gearing and torque, cameras, and compute for their tasks. Supplied with the manufacturer's warranty, the Adam-U ships worldwide with full logistics and after-sales support.

Features

Upper-body humanoid form factor A sensor-equipped head, articulated dual arms, and dexterous hands on a fixed pedestal concentrate payload and dexterity at bench height for bimanual tasks.
Built for manipulation research Suited to sorting, placement, tool holding, and demonstration learning in labs, startups, and integrator projects building skill libraries and pilots.
Teleoperation and dataset workflow A teleoperation framework ingests motion from Noitom motion-capture suits (with roadmapped VR-controller support) for motion mirroring, kinesthetic teaching, and dataset creation.
Perception-guided grasping Multi-camera RGB and depth sensing supports object recognition, pose estimation, and scene understanding for guided manipulation.
Modular, developer-oriented design Standardised, production-oriented joints and drives support repeatability and integration into imitation-learning pipelines.
Configurable kit with optional mobility Sold as a configurable kit; buyers select hand type, arm gearing and torque, cameras, and compute, and can add a third-party mobile base separately when locomotion is needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the PNDbotics Adam-U a wheeled robot?

No. The Adam-U is an upper-body humanoid, a head with dual arms and dexterous hands on a fixed pedestal. Mobility is not built in; an optional third-party mobile base can be added separately if locomotion is required.

What is the Adam-U used for?

It is a bench-height manipulation platform for robot-learning and human-robot-interaction research, and light service pilots, handling bimanual tasks such as sorting, placement, tool holding, and demonstration learning.

How do you program or teach it?

PNDbotics provides a teleoperation framework that ingests motion from Noitom motion-capture suits (with roadmapped VR-controller support) for real-time mirroring, kinesthetic teaching, and dataset creation, feeding imitation-learning and scripted-skill workflows.

Is it configurable?

Yes. Adam-U is supplied as a configurable kit, so buyers can select hand type, arm gearing and torque, cameras, and compute to trade dexterity and latency against cost and power for their application.

How much does the Adam-U cost, and do you ship worldwide?

The PNDbotics Adam-U is priced at $45,000. Contact us for volume pricing or a business quote. It is supplied with the manufacturer's warranty and ships worldwide with full logistics and after-sales support.
