An autonomous mobile robot to guide, inform and communicate

Designed to operate indoors, the temi robot combines an autonomous navigation base with a complete user interface. Its ROBOX™ system handles mapping of the environment, 3D localization, path planning, obstacle avoidance and people tracking. It can move autonomously between predefined points or follow a user, without beacons or specific infrastructure.

The interface is based on a 13.3" Full HD touchscreen, combined with a set of microphones and loudspeakers for voice and multimedia. The temi robot is built on an Android architecture and includes its own temi OS operating system, a dedicated launcher and an interface optimised for human–robot interaction. ASR, NLP, facial recognition and text-to-speech engines enable the use of voice commands and telepresence applications.

The temi robot connects to the network via Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1 and, optionally, a 4G/5G module. A dedicated mobile application allows you to take remote control of the robot, make mobile video calls and move around the premises as if you were on site. The platform is open to third-party applications via a full SDK and a dedicated app store.

With an autonomy of around 8 hours, the robot automatically returns to its charging dock when it needs to recharge. Its motorised base provides smooth movement, a speed of up to 1 m/s and a zero turning radius for manoeuvring in confined spaces. An integrated tray can carry small objects or accessories.

temi Center is an online management system that provides centralised supervision of the robot (or a fleet of robots). From a web interface, administrators can manage the robot settings, organise saved locations, adjust routes and customise certain behaviours or content depending on the installation site. temi Center simplifies day-to-day robot operation and makes it easy to update its configuration without direct intervention on the device.
