Description

The Unitree G1-D Ultimate A U6 is the entry point into the wheel-base Ultimate tier of the G1-D family: a fully mobile, dual-arm humanoid robot that pairs the G1-D upper body with a wheeled chassis, advanced sensing systems and on-board computing. Where the fixed-base Standard builds keep the robot at a single station, the Ultimate A can bring its arms to the task — moving between benches, cells and rooms under its own power.

That mobility changes the research questions the platform can address. Instead of studying manipulation in isolation, a team can work on the harder, more realistic problem of mobile manipulation: navigating to a target, positioning the torso and arms relative to it, and executing a task in a workspace the robot has to find rather than one it has been placed in. Unitree positions the Ultimate A U6 for high-level research, intelligent automation and human-robot interaction, with the wheeled base, sensing suite and computing capability all serving that combination.

Within the Ultimate tier, the individual builds are differentiated primarily by which dexterous hands are fitted — the Ultimate B U7, for example, carries Dex3-1 three-finger hands, while the Ultimate D U9 carries five-finger hands. The manufacturer's summary for the Ultimate A configuration does not itemise a specific hand model, so we recommend confirming the exact end-effector fitment with our team as part of your quote rather than assuming it matches another build in the range.

Robotix Market sources the Unitree G1-D range new through established distribution channels, and every unit is supplied with the full manufacturer's warranty provided by Unitree Robotics. Technical questions and any warranty work are coordinated with the manufacturer's service network. Because the G1-D is a research-grade platform, we recommend confirming your intended workcell layout, power provision and software toolchain with our team before ordering.

Features

Wheeled mobile base A wheeled chassis makes the humanoid upper body fully mobile, so the robot can move between workstations and rooms instead of operating from a fixed position.
Dual-arm humanoid upper body Two coordinated arms on the G1-D platform support bimanual manipulation and human-robot interaction work.
Advanced sensing systems The Ultimate configuration includes an advanced sensing suite supporting perception, autonomous movement and interaction in dynamic environments.
On-board computing capability Powerful on-board computing supports AI workloads running directly on the robot, which matters for perception and control loops that cannot tolerate network latency.
Mobile manipulation research platform Combining navigation with dual-arm manipulation lets research teams tackle the full mobile-manipulation problem rather than manipulation alone.
Entry point to the Ultimate tier Shares the wheel-base Ultimate architecture with the U7, U8, U9 and U10 builds, which are differentiated principally by dexterous hand fitment.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Unitree G1-D Ultimate A U6 used for?

It is a fully mobile dual-arm humanoid robot built for high-level research, intelligent automation and human-robot interaction. Its wheeled base, sensing systems and on-board computing let it navigate to a task and then manipulate objects there, making it suited to mobile-manipulation research rather than bench-only work.

Which dexterous hands does the Ultimate A U6 ship with?

The manufacturer's summary for the Ultimate A configuration does not itemise a specific hand model. Within the G1-D Ultimate tier the builds are differentiated mainly by end-effector — the Ultimate B U7 uses Dex3-1 three-finger hands and the Ultimate D U9 uses five-finger hands, for example — so we recommend confirming the exact hand fitment with our team when you request a quote.

How does the Ultimate A U6 differ from the fixed-base Standard builds?

The Standard builds (such as the U4 and U5) mount the humanoid upper body on a fixed base and are intended for repeatable, station-based manipulation work. The Ultimate A U6 replaces that with a wheeled mobile chassis plus advanced sensing and on-board computing, so the robot can move through an environment as well as manipulate within it.

How much does the Unitree G1-D Ultimate A U6 cost?

The Unitree G1-D Ultimate A U6 is listed at $51,900. That figure is indicative and can move with configuration, destination country, duties and freight, so we recommend submitting a quote request through the Robotix Market product page for a firm delivered price and current lead time.

How is the robot supplied, and what warranty and support apply?

Robotix Market sources the Unitree G1-D range new through established distribution channels, and each unit carries the full manufacturer's warranty provided by Unitree Robotics. Support and any warranty claims are coordinated with the manufacturer's service network. We ship worldwide; on-site installation and commissioning are not included.
