These Terms of Service govern your use of Robot Overflow.com and the Robot Overflow platform. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptation des conditions

By creating an account or using Robot Overflow, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into contracts, and agree to these Terms. If you are using Robot Overflow on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.

2. Enregistrement du compte

Vous devez fournir des informations exactes lors de l'enregistrement. Vous êtes responsable de la sécurité de vos identifiants de compte. Informez-nous immédiatement si vous suspectez un accès non autorisé. Nous pouvons suspendre ou résilier les comptes qui enfreignent ces conditions.

3. Annonces et responsabilités des vendeurs

Les vendeurs doivent fournir des descriptions précises, y compris l'état, les spécifications et les défauts connus. Il est interdit de mettre en vente des objets prohibés, de décrire faussement des produits ou de manipuler la plateforme. Les vendeurs sont responsables de l'exécution des ventes et de l'expédition des articles tels que décrits.

4. Responsabilités des acheteurs

Les acheteurs doivent finaliser les achats qu'ils initient. Le paiement est dû lors du passage à la caisse. Les acheteurs sont responsables de vérifier l'adéquation des produits à l'usage prévu. Les rétrofacturations ou litiges de paiement engagés sans nous avoir contactés au préalable peuvent entraîner la suspension du compte.

5. Frais et paiements

Robot Overflow charges a volume-based platform fee on each transaction, deducted from seller payouts and charged to buyers at checkout. Seller fees start at 7.99% and decrease as cumulative volume grows, down to 2.99% for enterprise accounts. Buyer fees start at 4.99% and decrease similarly. Current fee tiers are displayed on the pricing page. Where Escrow Payments is used, an additional Escrow Payments fee of 1% per transaction applies (or a flat subscription of $299.99/month). We reserve the right to update fee rates with 30 days' notice. Subscription fees are billed in advance and non-refundable except as required by law.

6. Conduite prohibée

You may not use Robot Overflow to conduct fraud, money laundering, or illegal activity; circumvent our fee structure; harass other users; scrape or copy the platform; or list items that are stolen, export-controlled without proper authorization, or otherwise illegal to sell.

6a. Transactions en dehors de la plateforme

Soliciting or completing transactions outside of the Robot Overflow platform is strictly prohibited. This includes — but is not limited to — sharing contact details (phone number, WhatsApp, Telegram, WeChat, email, or any other channel) with the intent to close a deal off-platform, instructing a buyer to cancel and repurchase through an external channel, accepting direct bank transfers or cash as payment for a Robot Overflow listing, and linking to external storefronts or personal websites as a workaround to avoid platform fees. Any attempt to circumvent the platform transaction system — regardless of the channel used — is grounds for immediate listing removal and permanent account termination. Robot Overflow monitors messaging and listing content for off-platform solicitation signals.

7. Propriété intellectuelle

Robot Overflow owns or licenses all platform content including design, code, and editorial content. You retain ownership of content you submit (listings, photos) but grant Robot Overflow a worldwide license to display and promote it. Do not upload content you do not have rights to.

8. Escrow Payments Buyer Protection

Escrow Payments is Robot Overflow's optional buyer protection service. When enabled at checkout, funds are held by Stripe on behalf of Robot Overflow until the buyer confirms receipt or the auto-release window expires. Auto-release fires 30 days after confirmed delivery for Escrow Payments users, or 90 days after delivery for transactions where Escrow Payments was not activated. Manual-release mode allows the buyer to hold funds until they are satisfied the item matches the description. Buyers may freeze funds and open a dispute at any time during the hold window. Escrow Payments does not guarantee item quality — it guarantees the payment process. Robot Overflow is not a party to the underlying sale.

9. Résolution des litiges

Transaction disputes between buyers and sellers should first be resolved directly. If unresolved, contact our support team. Robot Overflow may mediate but is not obligated to resolve private disputes. Decisions by Robot Overflow in disputes are final for platform purposes.

10. Limitation de responsabilité

Robot Overflow is a marketplace platform and is not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers. We are not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of listed items. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid to Robot Overflow in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Exclusions de garantie

Robot Overflow is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee continuous availability, error-free operation, or that the platform will meet your requirements. Use of the platform is at your own risk.

12. Platform Content — Education, Papers & Guides

Robot Overflow publishes AI-assisted editorial content including news articles, research paper summaries (Education / Papers), and buying guides (Guides). This content is for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional, legal, financial, or technical advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated summaries. Research paper summaries link to original sources and do not re-host copyrighted material.

13. Modifications des Conditions

Nous pouvons mettre à jour ces Conditions à tout moment. Les changements importants seront notifiés par e‑mail ou par un avis sur la plateforme. La poursuite de l'utilisation après la prise d'effet des modifications constitue une acceptation. Si vous n'acceptez pas les Conditions révisées, vous devez cesser d'utiliser la plateforme. 14. Droit applicable

Ces Conditions sont régies par les lois de la Pologne et, le cas échéant, par le droit de l'Union européenne. Tout litige relève de la compétence des tribunaux de Katowice, en Pologne, sauf si les lois de protection des consommateurs de votre juridiction exigent le contraire.
