Description

The Unitree G1-D Ultimate E U10 is a dual-arm humanoid robot combining advanced tactile sensing with mobility, engineered for robotics research, manipulation training, and AI-based applications. As the Ultimate E tier of the G1-D line, the U10 is positioned at the upper end of the family for groups whose work depends on the robot's manipulation capability rather than its locomotion.

The platform provides 31 total degrees of freedom, including 7 per arm across two arms and 2 in the waist. Seven degrees of freedom per arm is the threshold at which an arm becomes kinematically redundant — able to reach the same end-effector pose through multiple joint configurations. For manipulation research that redundancy is not a luxury: it is what allows an arm to work around obstacles, avoid singularities, and hold a tool orientation while repositioning the elbow. The waist degrees of freedom extend the effective workspace beyond what the arms alone can reach.

Advanced tactile sensing gives the control system contact information rather than position data alone, which is the prerequisite for contact-rich manipulation, force-modulated grasping, and the imitation-learning and reinforcement-learning workflows that dominate current embodied AI research. The wheel base pairs that manipulation capability with mobility, letting the robot reposition between workstations and collect data across varied settings rather than being confined to a single fixed rig.

Every unit is sourced new through established distribution channels and arrives with the full manufacturer warranty. Robotix Market ships worldwide; after-sales support is coordinated with Unitree's service network, and no on-site installation or commissioning is included.

Features

31 Total Degrees of Freedom Thirty-one degrees of freedom across the platform, including 7 per arm and 2 at the waist, for a manipulation workspace well beyond a fixed dual-arm rig.
7-DoF Redundant Arms Seven degrees of freedom per arm makes each arm kinematically redundant, allowing obstacle avoidance, singularity avoidance, and tool-orientation holding while repositioning the elbow.
Advanced Tactile Sensing Contact-level feedback rather than position data alone — the prerequisite for force-modulated grasping and contact-rich manipulation research.
Wheel Base Mobility The wheeled base lets the robot reposition between workstations and collect data across varied environments instead of being confined to one fixed installation.
2-DoF Waist Waist articulation extends the reachable workspace beyond arm reach alone, adding bending and reorientation to the manipulation envelope.
Built for Research and AI Training Engineered for robotics research, manipulation training, and AI-based applications rather than for a fixed production task.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Unitree G1-D Ultimate E U10 used for?

It is a dual-arm humanoid robot used for robotics research, manipulation training, and AI-based applications. Advanced tactile sensing and 31 degrees of freedom make it suited to contact-rich manipulation work, imitation learning, and embodied AI data collection.

How are the 31 degrees of freedom distributed?

The platform provides 31 degrees of freedom in total, including 7 per arm across two arms and 2 at the waist. The 7-DoF arms are kinematically redundant, and the waist articulation extends the workspace beyond arm reach alone.

What does the Unitree G1-D Ultimate E U10 cost?

The G1-D Ultimate E U10 is listed at approximately $66,300. Final pricing depends on configuration, destination, and shipping terms, so please request a quote through the product page for a firm figure.

What is the difference between the wheel-base and fixed-base G1-D configurations?

The U10 uses a wheel base, so it can reposition between workstations and collect data across varied environments. Fixed-base configurations in the same G1-D family remain at a single installation, which suits labs working from one dedicated manipulation rig.

How is the G1-D Ultimate E U10 supplied and supported?

The robot is sourced new through established distribution channels and arrives with the full manufacturer warranty. Robotix Market ships worldwide; after-sales support is coordinated with Unitree's service network, and on-site installation or commissioning is not included.
