Several lengths to suit your installation
Ouster cables with Interface Box are available in several lengths to suit the layout of the LiDAR system and the distance between the sensor and the computing equipment.
| Variant | Configuration |
| 1 m | Straight connector + Interface Box |
| 5 m | Right-angle connector + Interface Box |
| 10 m | Straight connector + Interface Box |
| 15 m | Straight connector + Interface Box |
Right-angle version for space-constrained installations
The 5 m variant uses a right-angle connector on the sensor side. This format is particularly useful when the LiDAR is installed close to a wall, inside a chassis or in a space where the cable cannot exit directly in line with the connector.
Ouster recommends using a right-angle connector when the cable needs to be bent within the first few centimeters after the connector, in order to reduce mechanical stress on the connector.
Interface Box for power and Ethernet communication
The Ouster Interface Box simplifies LiDAR connection during development and testing. It provides access to a 1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet interface via RJ45 as well as the sensor power supply.
It also provides access to the signals required for certain sensor synchronization and integration functions.
The Interface Box is primarily intended for clean, protected indoor environments. It is not designed for direct exposure to water, dust or unprotected outdoor conditions.
