Description

The Unitree G1-D Ultimate B U7 is an advanced mobile humanoid robot combining a wheeled chassis with Dex3-1 force-controlled three-finger dexterous hands. That pairing is the point of the build: the wheel base lets the robot reach the task, and force-controlled hands let it complete the task with regulated contact rather than a fixed, position-only grip.

Force control is what separates the Dex3-1 from a simple gripper. Rather than closing to a commanded position and holding, the hand can modulate how hard it presses, which is what contact-rich work demands — inserting, turning, holding an object whose stiffness is unknown, or adapting mid-grasp when the object shifts. The three-finger layout is a deliberate middle ground: more enveloping and stable than a two-finger gripper, less complex to control than a full five-finger hand, and well suited to research programmes that want reliable, repeatable grasps across many trials.

Unitree positions the Ultimate B U7 for dynamic manipulation, autonomous navigation and AI-powered interaction — in other words, the full mobile-manipulation loop rather than any single stage of it. Research groups building embodied-AI policies, automation teams prototyping human-scale material handling, and laboratories studying human-robot interaction in occupied spaces are the natural audience. Within the G1-D family, buyers who prefer a five-finger anthropomorphic hand should compare the Ultimate D U9, while those who need no mobility at all should look at the fixed-base Standard builds.

Robotix Market sources the Unitree G1-D range new through established distribution channels, and every unit is supplied with the full manufacturer's warranty provided by Unitree Robotics. Technical questions and any warranty work are coordinated with the manufacturer's service network. Because the G1-D is a research-grade platform, we recommend confirming your intended workcell layout, power provision and software toolchain with our team before ordering.

Features

Dex3-1 force-controlled three-finger hands Force-controlled dexterous hands modulate contact force rather than gripping to a fixed position, supporting contact-rich manipulation and adaptive grasping.
Wheeled mobile chassis A wheeled base carries the dual-arm humanoid upper body through the environment, enabling mobile manipulation instead of station-bound work.
Autonomous navigation The platform is designed for autonomous navigation, so it can route itself to a work location rather than being positioned manually.
Dynamic manipulation capability Built for dynamic manipulation tasks where the object, the environment or the robot itself may be in motion during the task.
AI-powered interaction Intended as an AI-driven interaction platform, suiting embodied-AI research and human-robot interaction development.
Balanced end-effector choice Three fingers offer more grasp stability than a parallel gripper while remaining simpler to control than a five-finger hand — a practical middle ground for repeatable trials.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Unitree G1-D Ultimate B U7 used for?

It is an advanced mobile dual-arm humanoid robot used for dynamic manipulation, autonomous navigation and AI-powered interaction. Typical deployments are embodied-AI research, mobile-manipulation development, automation prototyping and human-robot interaction studies in real environments.

What are Dex3-1 force-controlled dexterous hands?

They are three-finger dexterous hands that regulate contact force rather than simply closing to a commanded position. Force control allows the robot to grip objects of unknown stiffness, adapt mid-grasp if an object shifts, and perform contact-rich tasks that a position-only gripper handles poorly.

How does the Ultimate B U7 differ from the other G1-D builds?

The U7 is a wheel-base Ultimate build fitted with Dex3-1 force-controlled three-finger hands. Other builds in the family differ by base and hand: the Standard D U4 and Standard E U5 are fixed-base with BrainCo Revo 2 five-finger hands, while the Ultimate D U9 pairs the wheel base with five-finger dexterous hands.

How much does the Unitree G1-D Ultimate B U7 cost?

The Unitree G1-D Ultimate B U7 is listed at $64,300. That figure is indicative and can move with configuration, destination country, duties and freight, so we recommend submitting a quote request through the Robotix Market product page for a firm delivered price and current lead time.

How is the robot supplied, and what warranty and support apply?

Robotix Market sources the Unitree G1-D range new through established distribution channels, and each unit carries the full manufacturer's warranty provided by Unitree Robotics. Support and any warranty claims are coordinated with the manufacturer's service network. We ship worldwide; on-site installation and commissioning are not included.
