The Fairino FR20 is a long-reach, higher-payload six-axis collaborative robot in the FR-series, built for factories that want a cobot workflow while handling heavier tooling and larger parts. Positioned at a 20 kg payload (maximum 25 kg) with an extended 1854 mm reach, it sits in the heavy-duty cobot category for material handling, machine tending, packaging, and end-of-line logistics in high-mix production.
The 20 kg class is chosen when payload must cover not just the part but a robust gripper, vacuum array, or process tool together with cabling and dress packs. Six rotating joints give full pose control for approaching fixtures from multiple angles and rotating parts for placement or inspection, while the near-1.9 m reach lets a single arm service wide conveyors, deep machine envelopes, or several pick-and-drop points without remounting. Operators use a 10.1-inch teach pendant or mobile web app, with TCP/IP and Modbus connectivity for production cells that also require PLC coordination and tooling control. Typical roles span inter-station transfer, palletizing and end-of-line movements, large-envelope machine tending, and heavier process tooling, making the FR20 a strong fit for wide workcells.
