Description

The Galbot G1 is a commercial-grade wheeled humanoid robot standing 173 centimeters tall and weighing 85 kilograms, designed to operate in the same spaces and at the same heights as human workers. Its 360-degree omnidirectional wheeled chassis allows lateral, diagonal, and forward movement without body reorientation, while foldable struts provide height adjustment and stability during manipulation. Galbot credits the wheeled design with enabling a 10-hour battery runtime — far beyond what bipedal humanoids typically achieve — by directing energy to arm control and compute rather than postural balance. With a 190-centimeter arm span and a maximum reach height of 240 centimeters, the G1 can serve standard commercial shelving and industrial workstations without modification to the environment.

Manipulation is handled by 47 total degrees of freedom including a 12-DOF dexterous hand, enabling grasps from power grips to precision pinches on small or irregular objects. The perception system combines multiple RGB-D cameras for visual navigation, tactile sensors in the hands for contact force feedback, and a four-microphone array for voice command input. Intelligence is governed by AstraBrain, Galbot's proprietary end-to-end AI architecture covering high-level scene understanding, task planning, and motor control — demonstrated during the 2026 CCTV Spring Festival Gala with fully autonomous tasks including picking up glass fragments and retrieving items from densely packed retail shelves.

Features

10-hour battery runtime Wheeled base directs energy to manipulation and AI compute rather than balance actuation, delivering 10 hours of continuous operation.
47 DOF with 12-DOF dexterous hand Full-arm kinematics and multi-finger independent actuation support power grips, precision pinches, and complex fine-motor tasks.
360° omnidirectional wheeled chassis Moves laterally, diagonally, and forward without body reorientation; foldable struts add height adjustment and stability during manipulation.
240 cm maximum reach height 190 cm arm span plus 65 cm torso lift range lets the G1 access shelving and industrial workstations designed for human workers.
AstraBrain AI architecture Proprietary end-to-end system handles scene understanding, task planning, and motor control, supporting voice commands and object recognition.
RGB-D visual navigation with tactile feedback Multiple RGB-D cameras enable navigation without LiDAR; tactile hand sensors provide contact force feedback during object manipulation.
